Ali Ibrahim is a seasoned peacebuilding and development professional with over 15 years of experience delivering complex programs across the Eastern and Horn of Africa. He has worked with leading international organizations and donors including the United Nations, European Union, FCDO, USAID, Swiss Development Cooperation, Finn Church Aid, Equal Access International, Interpeace, and the Lutheran World Federation. Ali has held senior roles such as Chief of Party, Country Director, Senior Program Manager, and Policy Advisor, where he successfully led multi-million-dollar initiatives on governance, reconciliation, peacebuilding, and climate security. He has pioneered the establishment of Somalia’s first District Councils, contributed to federal state-building in Galmudug and South West, delivered end-line and mid-line evaluations for regional programs, and advanced environmental peacebuilding globally as an International Trainer with the Austrian Center for Peace.
