Researching socio-cultural drivers via innovative methods

As part of the King’s College and Cambridge-Africa seminar series, Claudia Abreu Lopes presented the method and insights from our research project in Uganda. Recruiting interactive radio and SMS technology, Africa’s Voices collected and analysed citizens’ beliefs on the causes of complications during pregnancy and at delivery, to help shape context-specific health interventions for Ugandan women.
